The STN is a national leader to promote Neurosciences in Tunisia since 1983.

We are a not-for- profit medical society led by expert volunteers. We unite Member National neurological society. Affiliated Member of World Federation of Neurology (WFN), Pan Arab Union of Neurological Societies (PAUNS), Pan African Association of Neurological Sciences (PAANS) and Maghrebian Federation of Neurology (MFN) . We are distinguished Fellows of the STN and individual. This network allows us to reach out organize local meetings, national and regional conferences, training courses and publications, by raising public awareness, liaison with national and international legislators, and by any other appropriate means. We encourage research in Neurosciences. Diversity is our strength.

It is governed by Law N°154 in 1959, the revised law N°90 of 2nd August, 1988 and Law N°25 of 1992.

1.To advance quality and equality of patient care in Neurology across the Maghreb countries .
2.To support all healthcare professionals (clinicians, specialist nurses and allied professions)
delivering patient care.
3.To play a leading role in the development of guidelines for optimal management of Neurological
disorders.
4.To give guidance on matters in clinical Neurology, including ethical issues and best practice.
5.To support clinical research in Tunisia
6.To manage STN’s input into Tunisian databases/registries for rare neurological disorders.
7.To participate in the development and maintenance of audits of Neurological practice in Tunisia.
8.To support the Education Committee on clinical education activities in Neurology, as required.
9.To liaise with the Science Committee as necessary.
10.To provide input on scientific symposia and other conference and training sessions.
